Let the sea set you free to this beautiful coastal home, the .S.S. Minnow is perfect for the whole family.
This Mariner's Drive home is a quiet diversion from the crowds and traffic in town, but still close enough to enjoy what the island has to offer. When arriving at this home you are greeted to the living room with a flat screen tv, board games, a sectional couch and two lounge chairs. There is a deck where you can walk out and enjoy the scenic views of the dunes and listen to the ocean waves. You will see a dining table that seats up to six people and a desk. Next is the fully equipped kitchen with stainless steal appliances and a large kitchen island. As you continue your journey you will see the first bedroom "The Mary Ann Suite" with a queen size bed and a twin over full bunkbed, along with a flat screen tv. The second bedroom "The Ginger Suite" features a queen size bed and a twin over full bunkbed and flat screen tv. There is a full size bathroom on this floor as well. Continuing your journey, you will see a stairway that leads to the third bedroom "Gilligan's Hut" that offers two twin size beds, a flat screen tv, a cube organizer and amazing colorful decor. There is a stackable washer and dryer for you convenience when you need to wash some clothes. The fourth bedroom "The Skipper's Quarters," is the master bedroom with a king size bed, flat screen tv, a love seat and its own private bathroom. The entire house is decorated with inspiration from "Gilligan's Island."
S.S. Minnow features a fully fenced backyard, perfect for your family, especially your furry friends. There is a private pool with a volleyball net, that is completely surrounded by a safety fence, with child resistant entry gate. Want an amazing outdoor space? -- You found it! Patio furniture - an outdoor bar - flat screen tv- a horseshoe set up - fire pit - propane and charcoal grills great for a cookout and fun with the family. The private pool area has plenty of seating for everyone, and you have the option to heat in the cooler months for $80.00 per night.
It is only a short walk down the road that leads to a community boardwalk that takes you directly to the beach. (Boardwalk wide enough for a golf cart to bring you and all your gear!)

Nice house had fun in the pool just if you plan on cooking for a big family take your own big pan to cook and seasons has plenty of towels we took yard fog for the mosquito and off that helped over all really satisfying with the rental.

The house was perfect for us. Welcoming, clean, and equipped with everything we needed. The fenced in pool was nice and fenced in yard with nice lawn was great for our pups.

This rental was outstanding! My new home away from home and I could not ask for anything more. It had everything from the pool, bar, covered patio, grilling, games, the beach. We walked our dogs to the beach from the house. I give this house a 10!

Our stay was truly wonderful! We had everything we needed and more. So many areas to cook, a clean pool, plenty of outdoor furniture, they even had horseshoe and board games! Stores and restaurants were conveniently located about 8-10 mins away so we were close enough yet we still maintained our space from the busyness of the actual island. We had privacy and lots of space. We enjoyed sitting outside at night and being able to listen to the ocean! Thanks for a fabulous weekend!

New wave is well kept and maintained. There are a lot of stairs. Back yard needed mowed and full of stickers. We did however schedule last minute so they may not have had time to go by, but I feel like that should be a given. They also didn’t say anything about pet fees but then requested after we had already rented. We are unique however in the sense that we had our dogs and parents dogs. Overall a very relaxing stay. Comfortable and had all that we needed.

We really enjoyed our stay here, the house is on a quiet street down the main road that felt private and safe, was a close 5 minute walk to the beach with a private beach walk at the end of the street. The yard was perfect for our 2 dogs to run and enjoy the grass. This house is well maintained inside and out, overall everything was very clean and instructions for checking in and out were clear. We loved the addition of local restaurant and business recommendations as well. The only small complaint is that the house is a bit close to the main road, and there is construction going on down the street, so there is some noise around, but that did not bother us at all and with Port A growing as a whole it is to be expected. We 100% would recommend staying here and hope to visit again soon!

Short walk over boardwalk (parking at entrance) to uncrowded section of beach. Overall a great rental. The best part of this rental is the outdoor area!
House location is great! Golf cart delivery and pick up from house was so convenient. I do feel like for the price charged, the house could have been cleaned better prior to arrival. The house is in need of some repairs but to be expected from a popular rental. Overall my family had a great time and the staff at New Wave Vacation is great!! We will be back!
