Welcome to Dolphin Cove, your ultimate courtyard retreat with a private pool, perfect for accommodating up to 24 guests. This expansive home features a unique layout centered around a two-level screened porch, offering flexibility with ten bedrooms and four separate entrances.
On the Gulf side of the patio, two master bedrooms with king-size beds and private baths provide luxurious comfort, separated by a living area with a TV. Upstairs, you'll find a king bedroom and another room with two twin bunk beds.
The Laguna side of the home encompasses the entire first floor with a spacious living area, dining space, and a chef's kitchen equipped with two microwaves, two refrigerators, two ovens, and an 8-burner stove—perfect for preparing meals for large groups.
Upstairs, there's another king bedroom and a room with a twin-over-queen bunk bed. Additionally, the carriage house above the garage offers two queens, two twins, and a twin-over-queen bunk, ensuring ample space and comfort for everyone in your party.
Each room includes free high-speed wireless internet and a TV, with the convenience of two sets of washers and dryers available onsite.
Relax and unwind with a dip in the private pool, enjoy morning coffee on the patio, or gather around the fire pit overlooking the charming neighborhood and lighted walkways. You can also jump into 2 heated/cooled community pools just a few steps from this home in this gated community. Feel like getting out of the sun? - Enjoy the ping pong table and all around hangout area in the screened in porch area.
For added convenience, Dolphin Cove is pet-friendly with a maximum of two pets allowed, and pet fees are $75 per pet, per stay.
As a new addition, we offer a NEMA 14-50 50 amp 240V receptacle for portable EV charging, available at no extra cost. Guests need to bring their own portable charging cords.

Also available nearby are beach rentals for surfing, sailboarding, jet skiing, and so many other ways to have fun . . . . . OR, just lay on the beach and relax!!

Before traveling to Port Aransas/Village Walk please plan the correct number of vehicles you drive in accordance with the rules below:
1) VW68 provides 8 paved parking spaces. If you rent a golf cart, that will count as a vehicle.
2) Parking Tags will be provided by New Wave Vacation Rentals.
3) No Street Parking, No Parking in Red Zones, and No Parking in other Village Walk Driveways
4) No Boats, Trailers, Buses, RV’s allowed in Village Walk
5) Towing will be strictly enforced

The property was perfect for our family. It was cute and fun and bright, but not so fancy or over the top that big families can't enjoy it. Whoever designed the place really knew what they were doing. Six different Areas for parents and kids in their own bathroom was perfect. The smaller, more shallow pool is also perfect for family staying there. Whoever responded to our text while we were there, did a great job and was very helpful. My few suggestions Would be that in our family was able to figure out the lighting for the pool. I did not think the mattress pad in the master bedroom was very comfortable. I tended to roll into the middle to get out of the divots where people normally sleep. We loved having the two refrigerators and two dishwashers and two ovens, etc., in the kitchen. One more coffee maker would've been appreciated by our family. We would recommend the property and stay there again. Thank you The property was perfect for our family. Gulf side house had AC issues in all 4 bdrms. One window unit was placed in one bdrms, One box fan avail for entire house. Carriage house has spotty satellite TV & internet doesn't reach one room. The kitchen was fully stocked with plenty of cookware, etc. The common area was great! We made lots of memories. Plenty of room for all 19 of us.

It's always challenging to find a house to fit our large family (including 9 Grandkids). Dolphin Cove was spacious enough for each family to have their bedrooms/bathrooms with plenty of common space as well! The fenced in pool added much appreciated security, and the fire pit was an unexpected bonus! We may have found the perfect spot for our Annual Birthday Beach Bash!

This house is such a beach vibe, the whole atmosphere is amazing! We loved the shared patio it was perfect for not feeling like you’re stuck inside yet not being in the hot sun. It’s close to the beach! The separate rooms made it not feel so crowded. The kitchen came fully equipped. Overall our stay was very enjoyable and we would most definitely rent again

Dolphin Cove was the perfect beach house for our July 2023 family reunion. The house had a big kitchen and plenty of seating which helped helped during preparation and serving. All the kids and adults enjoyed the day at the beach and the evenings swimming in our own private pool. Some played ping pong in the garage. The layout was perfect and housed 18 of us comfortably. We’ll definitely be back.

My wife & I and a close group of friends decided to celebrate hers and another’s 40th birthdays in Port A where we’d all spent plenty of weekends over the years together. Bridget was always very quick to reply to my chats through the VBRO app. On our first evening, one of the rooms above the garage was not cooling. After hours maintenance was quick to come out and bring a portable window unit to get us through the night. The very next day, it was fixed and the room was much more comfortable for our guests in that room. The stay was amazing and the house was just the right touch to top it all off.

We rent this house every time we host large groups in Port Aransas! It's large enough for everyone to have privacy, and has great community spaces when it's time to gather. This time, we took advantage of New Wave's offer to deliver & pick up our golf cart rentals which was very convenient. The New Wave staff is AMAZING and the property is always extremely clean.

The house is really well set up for privacy for multiple families. Plenty of bathrooms and little pods of bedrooms. Only downside is it may be a tight fit for the 8 parking spots listed. I think 5-6 may be the practical limit.

Overall great time and house is great for hosting a big group of people. House is showing some wear and tear and had some little issues. Management Company was great is responding and overall Management Company made a great experience and were very flexible and really a better experience then another Management Company we dealt with on another house we rented.

Overall great time and house is great for hosting a big group of people. House is showing some wear and tear and had some little issues. Management Company was great is responding and overall Management Company made a great experience and were very flexible and really a better experience then another Management Company we dealt with on another house we rented.

We had 4 different families staying together and the design of the home was perfect! The bedroom/bathroom layout suited everyone. The kitchen and dining room are the best feature of the home! We were all able to make meals & eat together In a spacious environment. We absolutely loved the private pool! We were able to swim and cool off in the evenings. There were a few minor things in the kitchen that needed updated (rugs) and the cabinets/drawers needed reorganized. Only one other thing—maybe some command hooks in the 2 twin bedroom upstairs—there was really no dresser/closet or space to put up clothes.

We loved our property and it fit our families needs perfectly. Our four kids, their spouses and our 13 grandchildren each had a bed and the number of beds fit our various family members perfectly (5 couples w 13 grandchildren ranging in age & gender). The property managers were very responsive. We found the mattresses to be comfy as well. There were a few minor repairs needed, but it didn't affect our stay at all. We already want to come back!

We were so happy when a new management company opened in Port Aransas. We have been renting homes in Port Aransas for many years and finally have a management company that offers a higher level of service. The house was immaculate and ready when we arrived. Check in was a breeze and the office staff was great. Can't wait to come back.
