Old Town

This historical part of the community is made up of two sections; East and West Old Town. The Western portion of Old Town consists of businesses, homes, and cottages.  The "old fishing village" past of Port Aransas lives on in this Eastern portion of the area. Walking, biking or golf-carting will deliver you as easily to the beach as they will to the restaurants, shops, and harbor. Quant and quirky, cute and beautiful are all words that come to mind when describing this section of Port A.  Here you'll find mixed residential areas with artist studios, shops, homes, rental cottages that co-mingle in this lively part of town. The convenience of in-town and the charm of Old Town makes this the perfect area to enjoy walking or biking to the beach as well as the parks, the community pool, library, harbor, restaurants, galleries, and shops.
